The Peralzola cheese, like the Estrella La Peral cheese, belongs to the family of blue cheeses.

Made with the finest selected sheep's milk, it has become the only cheese of its kind in Asturias to this day. It possesses a very personal character, distinct from the unmistakable Quesería La Peral signature. Its ivory-white color with blue veins, combined with its maturation, creates a rich blend of flavors, smells, and aromas, resulting in a well-balanced cheese of excellent quality. In 2015, it was one of the cheeses selected for the World's Best Cheese award at the World Cheese Awards.
